Clothing & Other FAQ
"Ok, I'm going on this scenic tour of all the sights in Juneau from a glacier to city hall and I have a bunch of questions including what should I wear?"
We'll try and answer most of your questions right here.
CLOTHING: The weather in Juneau can, and often does, change. The appropriate thing to do is dress in layers so you are comfortable no matter what the weather does.
RAIN GEAR: You will be traveling to a rain forest. Bringing your own rain gear is always a good idea since it will most likely fit more comfortably and usually be of better quality.
FOOT GEAR: It goes without saying that a comfortable pair of walking shoes is hard to beat.
PICKUP & DELIVERY: If you have booked prior to leaving the ship, just look for your tour guide waving his or her arms. If you are booking after leaving the ship, just wait for the correct tour van. Don't worry about getting back, that's our job.
TIPING: Certainly is not expected, but if your guide does a good job, by all means show them your appreciation.
SNACKS AND BEVERAGES: Provided by your guide service.
